Masonry Contest

On May 31, 2008 the Basic Masonry Program is having a class competition and you are invited! Come see us compete as the builders of tomorrow demonstrate their abilities, as new Masonry Tradesmen. Winners will be rewarded with prizes and most importantly recognition. Contractors and business employers are especially Invited. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Masonry Industry Training Association Blueprint Reading 101+
Come learn the fundamentals of blueprint reading and estimating at this one day workshop. Held at the Santee RCP Block & Brick sales yard, you will learn such aspects as: Overview of blueprint organization, symbols & terminology, introduction to estimating, interpreting specifications, and much more. Classes are $80 per person ($40 per MITA/ROP student) and taught by leading contractors in the field. Beverages and Lunch will be served.
