Thin Stone Veneer

Thin Stone Veneer is thin cut stone designed to be affixed to masonry surfaces in order to give the illusion of full bed stone construction. Most popular for adding stone to the exterior of a homes, business, around fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, or creating interior accent walls. Thin stone veneer is available in both natural stone or manufactured stone panels and pieces.

Natural Thin Stone Veneer

Natural Thin Stone Veneer is real stone that has been cut from natural stone quarries. Natural stone veneer is available in both panels, which are pre-fabricated modular sections of approximate 1 square foot; and random pieces, which allow for more flexibility in stone placement and joint size.

Manufactured Thin Stone Veneer

Manufactured Stone Veneer is created through pre-cast, lightweight concrete molds, that are then colored and textured to mimic the look of natural stone. RCP Block & Brick both stocks an assortment of popular styles as well as provides access to full lines from top stone veneer manufacturers.

What Different Stone Veneer Pieces Are Available?

NOTE: Pieces listed below are not necessarily available in every stone veneer style

Field Units

Stone veneer field units are used to fill the large interior flat areas of your project. Normally, field units are the most common unit style that will be used when installing stone veneer. When estimating needed quantities for a project, field units are estimated using square footage (Length x Height).

Corner Units

Stone veneer corner units are exactly as described and used when a 90° corner is present in your stone veneer project. Stone veneer corner units vary between "L Corner" pieces that are pre-cut to have a 90° angle, and "dog ear" pieces which consist of two separate units that fit together to create a 90° corner. For greater or lesser angles than 90°, custom miter cuts are necessary. Corner units are estimated using lineal feet (Height or Length of the corner).

End Units

Stone veneer end units are finished on one end and used in instances where the veneered area does not extend across an entire wall, but ends mid-wall (e.g. Creating a fire place facade). End pieces give a finished look to the edge of the stone veneer area.

Natural Stone Disclaimer

All Natural Stone Products Are Non-returnable, Non-refundable, and Non-exchangeable.

Natural stone is a random product of nature and therefore includes considerable variations and "imperfections" such as color range, veining, texture, size, and cleft. These “imperfections” are responsible for creating the overall look and feel of each stone's individual style. While natural stone is considered to be a durable material, there are several factors that can influence the erosion, weathering, alteration, and decay of all natural stone materials. These factors include, but are not limited to:

Dissolution - A process where some minerals are dissolved in water.
Oxidation or “Rusting” - A process when iron-bearing minerals are exposed to high temperatures, moisture, or oxygen.
Spalling/Flaking - Caused by Freeze/Thaw, Thermal Expansion, Wetting & Drying or exposure to Salts.

All natural stone products are sold “AS IS”. There is no warranty of any kind expressed or implied. This is including, but not limited to the merchantability, fitness or suitability for a particular purpose. As such, the installation or use of natural stone products constitutes acceptance, thereby releasing RCP Block & Brick from any and all claims.
